After receiving more than $233,000 worth of renovations, the Shawnee Park Pool will open at noon on Saturday, following a short ceremony that starts at 11:45 a.m.

Shamblin Construction of Sissonville overhauled the pool’s filtration system and repaired and painted patio and walkway areas as well as the pool’s walls and bottom. The project was funded by the Kanawha County Commission as part of the Shawnee Park Multi-Sport Complex construction project.
