My name is Kerstin Santamaria (she/her) and I am the owner and operator of TORQUE T attoo, LLC. TORQUE
is located behind the mound on D Street in South Charleston. It is in a private four-room suite, in a building
with a variety of other businesses, which allows for anonymity.
TORQUE was the first business in WV to be DEI (Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion) Certified and specializing
in services for the following communities: LGBTQIA+
, SI/Self-harm, Domestic Violence, and Recovery.
Through a variety of outreach opportunities, I am able to connect with and help these communities. I have
been an invited speaker at statewide events, conferences, seminars, recovery facilities, public NA meetings,
doctors offices, counseling group meetings, resource & board meetings and business associations.
Given the outreach I have done on behalf of TORQUE, I have built strong referral sources with local therapists,
pediatricians, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, nurse practitioners, social workers, as well as local and
statewide organizations. I have provided services for those participating in Jobs and Hope program, they help
participants navigate through recovery and reentry, and seeks career training and employment.
Through my services at TORQUE I complete tattoo removal and help with any scarring due to previous drug
use. TORQUE is the only business in WV that specializes in Inkless Scar Revision catered to highlight this
particular service offered at TORQUE, I use Inkless Scar Revision techniques to fix self-harm scars, burns,
surgical scars, etc. No tattoo ink is required. I use numbing throughout the procedures and there is no
downtime for healing. My clients have found this service to improve self-esteem and body image, as well as
erase any and all triggers.
Additional services TORQUE offers, includes: scar camouflage, top/bottom surgery scar restoration revision
and/or camouflage, 3D nipple + areola restoration, birthmark camouflage, tattoo removal, cosmetic
tattooing/permanent makeup, dark lip neutralization, tooth gems and teeth whitening, etc. I have pro bono slots
available for those with at least one year of sobriety to receive tattoo removal, track-mark/hit spot scar
revision/camouflage or blown out veins color correct/camouflaging. I also gift services for kids
scars/birthmarks and domestic violence survivors. Any pro Bono work, I do not charge for the service but ask
for a tip (something for my shop, artwork, something made, flower from the side of the road).
Being the owner/operator of TORQUE has allowed me to focus on inclusivity of all communities, and to ensure
services are in a private, comfortable, non-intimidating, and judgment free setting. My clients have given
