Experience the thrill of the World Cup right here in West Virginia! This 5v5 and 7v7 tournament offers a fun and fast-paced match format to test player skills as they advance through the group stages to the Finals.
- 5v5 format on a shortened field for U10, U13, and U16 boys and girls divisions.
- Each team picks their favorite country at registration, so the sooner you register the better chance of getting your country of choice.
- 25-minute game play with a minimum of three games guaranteed on Saturday in the Group Stage
- Teams will be assigned to Groups based on random drawing just like the real World Cup.
- Prizes for best team uniform.
- Sunday quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals will all be held before the real World Cup Final at 3:00pm.
- 7v7 tournament for U19 and Adult levels will be played on a U12-size field.
- Format will be determined based on number of entrees with a guaranteed minimum three games.
Cost is $30 per player. Rosters should generally not exceed 8-10 players to ensure everyone gets playing time. All players must be registered with USYS, US Club, or WVSA Adult Soccer. Rosters will be verified prior to the event. Players may NOT play on two different teams in the tournament.
